EARNHEART MEDIA / YOUR PRIVACY

Privacy policy.

Effective October 25, 2026 · Last updated October 30, 2026

Your reflections belong to you. Here is how information is handled when you visit Earnheart.org and use the Defining Moments reader.

1. Who we are and what this covers

Earnheart Media is a media division of Pantheon Consulting Group. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to Earnheart Media in this policy. This policy covers Earnheart.org, its current reading experience, and privacy-related communications with us. Other websites and services you choose to visit have their own privacy practices.

2. Information we handle

Information you provide

If you contact us, we receive the contact details, message, and attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, handle requests, and maintain relevant correspondence. Please do not send information that is unnecessary for your request.

Technical visit information

When you request a page, image, or video, our hosting and security providers may process your IP address, browser and device information, requested URL, referring page where supplied, request time, and security or error information. This supports delivery, troubleshooting, reliability, and protection against abuse.

Your reader information

The reader stores your selected chapter, saved bookmark, text size, and typed reflections in browser local storage. These features do not send your notes to an Earnheart account or database. Downloading reflections creates a text file on your device; it does not submit those reflections to us. Anyone with access to your browser profile or downloaded file may be able to read them.

The current website does not offer account registration, checkout, or a newsletter sign-up form.

3. Cookies and browser storage

Reader storage uses keys beginning with earnheart-reader:. It remains until you clear it, your browser removes it, or you change the saved information. It is separate from cookies and does not automatically synchronize through an Earnheart service.

Cloudflare helps protect and deliver this website. Its __cf_bm security cookie is used to distinguish automated traffic and expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity. Other security cookies may be used when a challenge or protection feature is triggered. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for details.

We have not added advertising cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party audience analytics scripts to the current site. Blocking cookies may affect security checks; blocking local storage prevents reader settings and notes from being saved between visits.

4. Video and optional voice playback

The teaser video is served as a website media file, without a YouTube or social-media embed. Playing or downloading it makes requests to our hosting infrastructure.

The reading preview uses your browser’s speech-synthesis feature and sends the selected chapter text to the voice service chosen by your browser or operating system. Depending on your device and voice, processing may occur locally or through that provider’s online service. Your personal reflections are not included in the text passed to this feature. You can read without activating voice playback.

5. Providers, uses, and disclosures

We use OpenAI Sites hosting and Cloudflare delivery and security infrastructure to make this site available. These providers may process technical information needed to operate and protect their services. Email providers process messages when you contact us. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

We use information to deliver the site, remember the reader choices you make locally, respond to communications, and investigate technical or security problems. Information we hold may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or the security of the service.

The current website does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and it does not use information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Browser Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals do not change the current site’s behavior because it has no advertising-tracking feature to disable; essential delivery and security processing continues.

6. Retention and security

Local reader information remains under your browser’s storage controls. Contact correspondence is retained as needed to respond to the request, maintain relevant records, and meet legal or security needs. Hosting and security records follow the relevant provider’s retention practices; there is no single fixed retention period for every type of technical record.

The site uses HTTPS for data in transit. No website or device can guarantee absolute security. Browser notes are not an encrypted private vault. Avoid storing sensitive information on a shared device, and protect any downloaded reflections yourself.

7. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or to complain to a privacy regulator. Contact us below to make a request or appeal a response. We may need reasonable information to verify and fulfill it, and legal exceptions may apply. We cannot retrieve or remotely erase notes that exist only in your browser or downloaded files.

8. Children’s privacy

This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so we can review the situation and take appropriate action.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this page and its “Last updated” date when our practices change. If we introduce accounts, payments, analytics, or new ways of collecting information, we will update the relevant privacy information and provide any notice or choice required by applicable law.
